The short versionTacrolimus is usually continued through pregnancy and breastfeeding, and is considered compatible for fathers-to-be. It is a useful option for controlling disease, including lupus affecting the kidneys, during pregnancy. Your team may check blood levels more often, as they can change in pregnancy.
